This is a photo of the Dyson family reunion of June 17, 1951 in Marion, Indiana. On the front row (directly over the letter "s") is my great-grandmother Sarah Elvira "Ella" (Dyson) LeCrone. Sitting next to her (directly above the letter "o") is my great-great Aunt Molly (Dyson) Lawrence. On the third row, the fourth person from the left (the bald fellow with the watch fob) is my grandfather, Emery Forrest LeCrone. On that same row, all the way to the end on the right, is Danny Gaither, an original member of the Bill Gaither Trio, a recipient of numerous Grammy and Dove awards, and a 1999 inductee into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame. On the back row, fourth person from the right, is Bill Gaither. His songs are in our hymnals. He wrote such classics as Because He Lives, The King Is Coming, Something Beautiful, He Touched Me, There's Something About That Name and Let's Just Praise The Lord. He's won four Grammies and somewhere around 30 Dove awards.
